KIA / INTEGRATED CAMPAIGN

Mid-sized sedans are super effing boring. Automakers are either on autopilot churning out the same old shit while others completely gave up making them. Not Kia. They Kia decided to go all in on creating a sedan that would breath new life into this stale category. So we decided to create a campaign that captured that very liveness to launch the car. We created a series of live, never-been-done-before stunts with some of Hollywood's best stunt directors and coordinators who worked on such films as Baby Driver, Ford v Ferrari, Drive and Black Panther. And we worked with some of the best stunt drivers in the industry to pull it off. 

We kicked off the campaign with the most stressful and insane idea I've ever worked on in my career – a LIVE event that was broadcast to social media and MotorTrend where we simultaneously jumped two K5s while another did a 180 underneath.

 

We then launched the all-new K5 worthy on broadcast, in print, on digital/social and in OOH.

 

Finally through a partnership with the Emmy's, we delivered Emmy Awards to the winners at their homes in real-time. And during the show, premiered our never-been-done-before Flat Spin 360 executed by legendary stunt driver, Jalil Jay Lynch. 

All of this conceived, created and launched during a pandemic.
